How to clean the anodized surface?

Before use the cleansing agent should be tested on a small, non visible area. No aggressive cleaners as scouring powder or Scotch-Brit-sponge should be used. First the anodized surface should be cleaned with soap water or a neutral, water-based cleansing agent.

The surface should be washed up with clear water using a soft cloth, sponge or soft brush. In addition we recommend a physical disinfection by means of coldness, hot air, hot water or steam. A chemical disinfection would attack the material, as chemical disinfectants react extremely “acid” or “alkaline”.

Does the aluminium alloy Vieler uses correspond to HACCP regulations?

Vieler only uses the aluminium alloy Al Mg Si 05. This alloy corresponds to DIN EN 602, international material code 6060 / ASTM B221.
The alloy Al Mg Si 05 is internationally recommended as safe for use with food. It is physiologically harmless.
